Popular VTuber Group NIJISANJI Joins Bandai's 'Niformeshyon' Chibi Wafer Seal Lineup
Bandai's Candy Division has revealed that the popular Virtual YouTuber (VTuber) agency NIJISANJI will make its first-ever appearance in the renowned "Niformeshyon" wafer sticker series, sparking a huge buzz across social media.
"Niformeshyon" is a collectible sticker line featuring characters recreated in an adorable, roughly two-head-tall "chibi" art style. It is a staple of Bandai's "shokugan" (candy toys) brand, having previously teamed up with mega-hit franchises such as ONE PIECE, Dragon Ball, and Aikatsu!.
The newly announced inaugural NIJISANJI collection will boast a lineup of 26 different stickers, including rare holographic designs and secret variants. Well-known VTubers and units like Kuzuha, ChroNoiR, Eden-gumi, Dytica, and Idios will be featured, drawing thrilled reactions from fans who commented, "The chibi designs are way too cute!" and "Finally, NIJISANJI is getting its own wafers!"
At the same time, dedicated fans preparing to buy boxes in bulk to complete their sets shared some humorous mixed feelings common to the hobby: "Looks like the wafer diet begins again," and "Can somebody please eat just the wafers for me?" With many warning that convenience stores and hobby shops could sell out quickly, calls to secure pre-order boxes have surged, pointing to massive anticipation ahead of the release.
The Context
In Japan, "shokugan"—miniature toys or collectible cards sold alongside inexpensive confectioneries like wafers or ramune candy—represents a massive pop-culture industry. Collectors often purchase multiple boxes to hunt for rare or secret chase items, which frequently leads to the playful online dilemma of ending up with dozens of uneaten wafers. NIJISANJI is one of the leading VTuber agencies in Japan, managed by ANYCOLOR Inc., boasting millions of devoted followers who eagerly snap up merchandise featuring their favorite digital creators.
