Tokematch Founder Arrested in Dubai Over Luxury Watch Fraud
Keisai Kominato (44), also known as Keisai Fukuhara, the former representative of "Tokematch," a luxury watch sharing service involved in a major fraud case, has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department on suspicion of fraud. Kominato, who had fled to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was apprehended by UAE authorities and arrested at Narita Airport upon his transfer back to Japan.Fukuhara is suspected of defrauding a male user of 15 Rolex watches, valued at approximately 18 million yen, around August 2023.
