Fumi Yoshinaga's Masterpiece Manga "Ooku" to be Adapted into Stage Play by Takarazuka Revue

It has been announced that Fumi Yoshinaga's masterpiece manga Ooku: The Inner Chambers will be adapted into a stage production by the Takarazuka Revue's Star Troupe. The show is scheduled to run from February to March 2027 at the Tokyo International Forum and the Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall in Osaka. The adaptation will focus on the immensely popular "Arikoto & Iemitsu Arc" from the original manga. Set in a gender-swapped Ooku, the painful yet poignant love story will be brought to life through the glamorous world of Takarazuka.
