Tokyo Hit-and-Run: Lamborghini Smashes into Police Car, Seriously Injuring Officers
A hit-and-run incident occurred on Tsukiji Ohashi in Tokyo's Chuo Ward, where a luxury sports car, a Lamborghini, collided with a police car that had stopped to handle an accident, leaving two police officers inside seriously injured. The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested the suspect, Changran Liu (41), a Chinese national, on suspicion of hit-and-run after he fled the scene. The incident took place in the early morning of February 8. At the time, two male police officers, aged in their 50s and 40s, were inside their patrol car on Tsukiji Ohashi, processing a minor collision between a passenger car and a taxi. It was then that the Lamborghini, driven by Liu, crashed into their vehicle from behind.
