Nijisanji VTuber Kuzuha to Voice Star in 'Street Fighter: The Movie' Japanese Dub

It has been announced that Kuzuha, a hugely popular VTuber affiliated with the VTuber group Nijisanji, will star in the Japanese dubbed version of the hit movie 'Street Fighter: The Movie', sparking a major buzz on social media.

Kuzuha will voice the character Marvin, an Interpol intelligence agent. Immediately after the announcement, fans rushed to X (formerly Twitter) to investigate the character's identity, asking 'Who is Marvin?' However, because it is an original character from the film (with a comical and eccentric role) and because it is a dream job related to his beloved 'Street Fighter' series, fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages and high expectations, saying things like 'Congratulations on your voice acting debut!', 'I'm definitely going to see it!', and 'I can't wait to see what kind of performance he'll give.'

Despite it being such a massive offer that even Kuzuha himself was surprised, asking, 'Are you really sure about me?', he showed a great deal of passion for Street Fighter during the recording sessions, even though he appeared quite nervous. The movie is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16. Attention is growing even further for Kuzuha's new challenge.

The context

VTubers (Virtual YouTubers) have grown into mainstream pop culture icons in Japan, with top creators like Kuzuha boasting millions of followers and expanding their reach into traditional media, voice acting, and mainstream entertainment.
