Snow Man's Hometown Trio Stars in Unscripted Special Featuring Masaki Okada and Ryohei Suzuki

A teaser video for the upcoming special "Snow Man Sakuma Watanabe Miyadate no Edogawa-kai," scheduled to air on the TBS network on Friday, August 14, has been released on YouTube and other platforms, sparking a huge reaction across social media where the hashtag "#EdogawaKai" quickly trended. The completely unscripted talk show features Snow Man members Daisuke Sakuma, Shota Watanabe, and Ryota Miyadate delivering candid conversations while visiting their shared hometown of Edogawa Ward, Tokyo.

In the preview, the trio visits local shops, enjoys a game of bowling, and even stops by a restaurant frequented by Miyadate's father. Highlights that have left fans swooning include the members dressed in refreshing yukata (traditional summer kimonos) enjoying beer aboard a house-boat (yakatabune). Social media flooded with delighted comments such as "Seeing my favorites in yukata is the absolute best!" and "The bowling, the eating scenes—everything about this is so endearing!"

Adding to the excitement, popular actor Masaki Okada—who made a hit appearance previously—returns as a guest alongside actor Ryohei Suzuki, who makes his first appearance on the show. Okada joined the fun with no promotional agenda, and together with Suzuki's powerful presence, the star-studded line-up has driven fan expectations to a fever pitch, with many declaring it a "god-tier episode featuring an amazing cast." Between the relaxed atmosphere of their hometown and the chemistry with guest stars, excitement is building for the live broadcast.
