Nijisanji VTuber Akira Shikinagi Surprises Fans with Debut Solo Single 'Correct◎'

Akira Shikinagi, a popular Virtual YouTuber (VTuber) from the major agency Nijisanji, has announced the digital release of his very first solo original song, "Correct◎," on the evening of May 31. A music video (MV) for the track will also premiere alongside the digital release.

The song was written and composed by Wanuka, a highly popular singer-songwriter beloved by fans for his unique worldview and infectious melodies. Wanuka shared his excitement on social media, posting, "The MV and digital release of the song I made for Akira Shikinagi is tonight! It is incredibly good◎," raising anticipation for this powerful collaboration between the creator and the VTuber.

Six Months of Silence Ends in a Surprise Release

While the production of an original song was originally announced during Shikinagi’s birthday karaoke livestream last year, there had been almost no progress updates for about six months. This sudden reveal of the completed track came as a thrilling surprise to his fanbase.

On social media, fans (affectionately known as "Nayutomo") flooded timelines with a mix of celebration and playful teasing.
