The Nendoroid adaptation of "Ishmael," a character from the popular game "Limbus Company," has become a hot topic on social media. When Good Smile Company's official account, "Kahotan @ GSC's Corner," first unveiled prototype images, fans flooded the posts with joyful reactions.

Many users expressed surprise and delight at the posted images, exclaiming "Ishmael!?" and offering congratulatory messages like "Congratulations on the Nendoroid~." Regarding the figure's sculpting, comments praising the meticulous attention to detail were prominent, such as "The exquisite eye shape, which is neither purely slanted nor purely droopy, the hair sculpting, and the costume details are truly amazing." On the other hand, some discussions also arose regarding the character's distinctive eye expression, with one user wondering, "Was I the only one particular about the lack of highlights in her eyes...?"

There were also welcoming comments accompanied by surprise that Ishmael was the first "Limbus" character to receive a Nendoroid, with remarks like, "I thought it would be Faust for sure, but I'm glad it's Ishmael because I had hoped she'd get one – she'd look great!" Given that plushies of Yi Sang and Don Quixote have already been released, some expressed "puzzlement" that the Nendoroid series would start with Ishmael.

Fans praised Ishmael's charm with endearing expressions like "Ishmael is cute," "super cute," and "mochi-mochi Ishmael." Many posts also expressed excitement by quoting her memorable in-game line, "It's all your fault, Ishmael!" Mentions of Nendoroid adaptations for other characters and related merchandise like "towels" were also seen, suggesting the possibility that Ishmael's popularity could extend to the entire merchandise lineup.

The unveiling of this prototype is a long-awaited figure adaptation for fans, further raising expectations for the colored model and the start of pre-orders.
