"PUI PUI Molcar" Returns! Creator Tomoki Misato to Helm New 5th Anniversary Special Episode

A new special episode of the smash-hit stop-motion anime PUI PUI Molcar is officially in production to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the TV series. Series creator Tomoki Misato will return to direct and write the script for the first time in about five years.

The upcoming special centers around Choco, a popular Molcar character whose birthday is August 10. To mark the announcement, a teaser visual and video were released, building anticipation among fans.

Director Tomoki Misato shared his excitement on social media, commenting, "I will be directing and writing PUI PUI Molcar again for the first time in five years. I had a strong desire to create more Molcar, so I am truly thrilled to make this happen! To all the Choco fans, thank you so much for waiting!" He encouraged fans to look forward to a "slightly longer special episode."
