New JR Station for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' Ballpark Officially Named 'F Village'

It has been reported that the new station on the JR Chitose Line, currently being developed adjacent to the Hokkaido Ballpark F Village in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido—home to ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters professional baseball team—with a targeted opening in 2028, will be named "F Village Station." The new station will be established between Kaminokuni and Kitahiroshima stations on the JR Chitose Line, located just about 300 meters walking distance from the stadium.
